Welcome to MintLeafStudio ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our yacht charter services and website located at mintleafstudio.sbs (the "Service") operated by MintLeafStudio.
By reserving a yacht or utilizing our Service, you consent to these Terms. Should you not agree with any part of the terms, you must not make use of the Service.
2. Service Overview
MintLeafStudio offers luxury yacht charter services that include, but are not confined to:
- Daily yacht rentals
- Sunset cruises
- Corporate retreats
- Private events
- Extended yacht adventures
All services rely upon availability and ideal weather conditions. We reserve the right to alter or terminate services without prior notice.
3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 Booking Process
To secure a yacht, you are required to:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Supply accurate and complete information
- Remit the required advance payment as specified in your booking confirmation
- Consent to these Terms & Conditions
3.2 Confirmation
A reservation is only confirmed with the successful payment and a written acknowledgment from us. We maintain the right to deny service to any individual at our discretion.
3.3 Availability
All yacht bookings are subject to the availability of vessels and conducive weather conditions. Efforts will be made to accommodate your requested dates and hours.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
All fees are stated in £ and include relevant taxes unless specified otherwise. Fees are subject to change without prior notification.
4.2 Payment Schedule
- Deposit: A sum of 50% of the total charter cost has to be paid at the time of booking
- Balance: Required 48 hours before the charter begins
- Extra charges (if applicable): To be paid at the end of the charter service
4.3 Payment Methods
Accepted modes of payment include major credit cards, bank transfers, and certified cheques. All payment processing is executed through secure, encrypted channels.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Customer Cancellations
- More than 72 hours prior to departure: A full refund minus handling fees
- 24 to 72 hours prior to departure: 50% of the amount refunded
- Under 24 hours before departure: Non-refundable
5.2 Weather Cancellations
In the case that our captain deems the weather conditions unsafe, we can:
- Reschedule the charter to an alternate date without additional costs
- Issue a full refund if rescheduling is not viable
5.3 Mechanical Issues
If there is a mechanical issue with the designated vessel, we will strive to offer a compatible alternative. If this is not possible, a full refund will be granted.
6. Safety and Conduct
6.1 Safety Requirements
All guests are expected to:
- Abide by all directions given by the crew
- Utilize safety equipment when deemed necessary
- Notify us of any medical conditions that could impact their safety
- Remain in the areas of the vessel designated for passengers
6.2 Prohibited Items
Certain items are not allowed on board:
- Glass containers
- Illegal substances
- Weapons or firearms
- Excessive non-alcoholic drinks beyond reasonable consumption
- Pets (except if authorized in advance)
6.3 Conduct
Passengers are expected to behave courteously. If a guest's conduct endangers safety or disrupts others' experiences, we may terminate the charter early, and no refund will be provided.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Our Liability
We limit our liability to the total charter fee paid. We are not accountable for:
- Personal harm caused by guest negligence
- Loss or damage to personal belongings
- Indirect, incidental, or punitive losses
- Delays stemming from weather or situations outside our control
7.2 Insurance Coverage
We maintain comprehensive insurance for our vessels and operations. Charter participants are advised to have their own travel and personal insurance policies.
7.3 Assumption of Risk
By taking part in our yacht services, you recognize that maritime activities carry inherent risks and you take on responsibility for your safety and well-being.
8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes
We retain the right to adapt itineraries, paths, or schedules due to weather, security reasons, or operational needs. We will make all reasonable attempts to offer comparable alternative options.
9. Force Majeure
We are not accountable for failure to fulfill obligations, cancellations, or amendments brought about by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Extreme weather
- Natural disasters
- Government decrees
- Port blockages
- Technical failures
10. Privacy and Data Protection
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you agree with the collection and use of your data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
11. Intellectual Property
Our website's content, such as text, images, icons, and logos, is secured by copyright laws. Unauthorized replication, dissemination, or derivation is prohibited without our express authorization.
